His career brought 90+ victories including a USGA Junior championship, two NCAA team championships, multiple major amateur tournaments and 6 worldwide wins on the major professional tours around the world. This included the 1979 Bayhill Classic, five national open championships and a 7th place finish in the British Open. He was ranked in the top 25 in the world for three consecutive years. He is a lifetime member of the PGA Tour, the Champions Tour, the European PGA Tour and the European Senior Tour. He is in the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame. He has now been teaching and coaching golf for 35 years. His experience in competitive golf and expertise in teaching / coaching the game is nearly unparalleled in the business. His knowledge of the game, his gift to communicate how to learn it and his passion for teaching /coaching sets up a unique skill set that allows all of his students the opportunity to optimize their individual gifts and talents.

He completed his graduation in arts in 1993 and then did his diploma in sports coaching in Athletics in 1995 from very famous National institutes of sports, Patiala, and then he did his master’s in physical education with gold medal from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1997. He joined as a lecturer in physical education in Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1998. He completed his doctoral in philosophy in 2004; he is teaching sports training, Athletics specialization and kinesiology & biomechanics to master level students. At present he is a professor and holding Mulana Abul Kalam Professor Chair in the department of Physical Education, Panjab University Chandigarh (India). And his area of research is sports training and positive psychology. Under his supervision many Ph.D. thesis has been completed and he also guided so many master level theses. There are around 50 publications of Dr. Singh in national and international journals. He has been a keynote and invited speaker at many national and International conferences and workshops and also member of many international physical education and sports sciences bodies.
