Dedicated and hard working golfer aims to reach the top of the game

Golf and Aadil: Aadil started practising and learning the initial strokes of golf when he was just four years old at CGA Golf Range, Chandigarh. He started playing Golf Course at the age of five at Panchkula Golf Course. He started participating in IGU (Indian Golf Union) National Golf circuit at the age of six. He slowly climbed up the ladder by finishing 9th in IGU merit list in 2008, 6th in 2009, 2nd in 2010 and became All India Number One player in year 2011 in D category(10 years and under) and feats he repeated in year 2013 in C (11-12 years cat) and in year 2015 in B category (13-14 years).

He finished runners up in IJGA World Star of Junior Golf at Las Vegas in USA in July 2016 with Top 10 finish in Optimist international. He has won 147 medals and trophies so far in as many as 230 national and international tournaments played he has participated in. Apart from playing all over in India, he has played in Australia, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Dubai, Canada, Thailand, England and United States of America . In Albatross circuit, he finished number 1 in year 2008 category E, finished 2nd in year 2012 Category C, 3rd in year 2013 category C. His Golf achievements for the last five years are briefed below:

YEAR 2016 (A CATEGORY 15-18 YEAR OLD)

Present holding 4th position in IGU merit list with 287 points and part of Indian Squad.

INTERNATIONAL:

a) Finished runners up in Golf World cup in USA
b) Won IJGT -Albatross at DLF Golf course Gurgaon shot 7 under in 3 days scoring 70,72,67= total 209 and qualified for ATOC at China in September 2016.
c) Finished runner up in AJGA World star of Junior Golf at Las Vegas Navada USA 19-21 July 2016 scoring 67, 65 and 74 = 206 ie 7 under at TPC Las Vegas’
d) Finished 6TH in OPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL at The PGA National West Palm beach Florida scoring 70,76 and 73 = 219 out of 135 golfers from July 27-29 2016.
e) Participated in IMG World Junior Golf championship at Torrey pines at San Diego California USA Scored 78, 71, 76 =total 225.

NATIONALS

a) Won Karnataka Junior golf championship at Clover Greens Bangalore score 71,71,70& 68 = total 280 (2 under Par) from 31 May- 3 June 2016.
b) Finished 2nd runner up at Golden greens Gurgaon from 19-22 April 2016 score 73, 75, 73 and 72= total 293.
c) Finished runner up at Rajasthan Junior Golf Championship from 3-6 May scoring 73,69 ,72 and 66 = Total 280 (Level Par)
e) Finished 4th at southern India Junior golf championship at Bangalore from 6-10 June 2016 scoring 71,74,74 & 73= total 292

YEAR 2015 (B CATEGORY 13-14 YEAR OLD)

a) Winner of Merit of Indian Golf Union (IGU) 2015 with 356 Points.
b) Won All India Junior Golf Championship at Royal Calcutta golf Club Kolkata, scoring 71,73,73 and 77= total 294, held from 1-4 December 2015, finished tied 2nd runner up in AB category.
c) Won Eastern India Golf Championship at Tollygung Golf Club Kolkata scoring 70,68,74,68= total 280 from 23-27 November 2015, finished tied 2nd runner up in AB category.

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION:

Participated in World star of junior golf at Las Vegas Navada, 21-23 July 2015 and finished 7th in the world cup by scoring, 73,72,73= 218. Participated in IMG World cup, 14-16 July 2015, scored 73, 70 & 72= 215 and finished in top twenties in the world.

e) Won Albatross Inter School Championship 26-27 August 2015 at ITC Classic golf course scoring 70, 75=145
f) Won Southern India junior Golf Championship at Eagleton golf Resort scoring69, 74, 77 and 72 = total 292. He also finished 2nd runner up in AB category (under 18 years)in 15-18 June 2015
g) Won Telangana Junior Golf Championship at Hyderabad Golf Club scoring 76, 77, 70 & 78= total 301 and finished 2nd runner up in AB joint category from 22-25 June 2015..

C) YEAR 2014(B CATEGORY 13-14 YEAR OLD )

a) Finished as a part of 4 members Indian Team Squad.
b) Won Eastern India Junior golf at BPGC Mumbai scoring 69,73,72 and 73 in November 2014.
c) Finished runner up in West Bengal Amateur Golf Championship at Tollygung Golf Club Kolkata, scoring 74,75, 76 & 71 in October 2014.
d) Finished 4th in Northern India at ITC and Easter India golf Championship at RCGC Kolkata scoring 75,76,76 and 75 in October 2014.

B) YEAR 2013 (C CATEGORY 11-12 YEAR OLD BOYS)

a) Holding number 1 slot in All India IGU merit list 2013 by winning all India Final at Coimbatore and Bombay in November and December 2013. Won league matches at Kharga Golf course Ambala (73,76), Army Golf Course New Delhi (76, 72), Golden Greens Gurgaon (score 74,75), finished 1st runner up at Golden green Gurgaon and SEPTA Chandimandar Golf Course, Chandigarh.
b) INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION: Finished 6th in World Junior Master Golf championship at Las Vegas USA in July 2013 (Score 77,73& 73). Finished in top 20 in US Kids world cup Championship at Pinehurst USA in August 2013 (score 74, 74 & 70).
d) Won 3rd Interschool Albatross championship at ITC Classic Golf Course in Aug 2013 (score 77,71).
f) Won Albatross International at Jay Pee Greens Greater Noida with score of 76.75.75 in November 2013.

C) YEAR 2012

a) Finished 4th in IGU merit list of 2012 by winning at Rambagh Golf Course Jaipur (Score 80, 79),
b) Won 2nd Interschool Albatross championship at ITC Classic Golf Course in Aug 2012 (score 76,71).
c) Finished in top 10 in European Championship 2012 at Scotland UK (score 81,76 78).

D) YEAR 2011 (D CATEGORY 7-10 YEAR OLD)

a) Finished number 1 in IGU merit list of 2011 in D category by wining Northern, Western and Eastern India junior Golf tournament. Finished 1st runner up in Delhi junior and SEPTA Chandigarh Juniors.
c) Won 1st Interschool Albatross championship at ITC Classic Golf Course in Aug 2012 (score 76,70).
d) Won Albatross international at ITC Classic Golf Course (score 77,72 and 70).
f) Participated in Callaway World Cup at San Diego California July 2010.
